Groilaz

so if you haven't noticed already, gorillaz is my favorite band! I've decided to dedicate my first shrine to them because my interest is more so a hyperfixation lol

the self-titled!! I think it's a pretty solid debut overall. the singles are obviously iconic, but the album-exclusive songs are also solid for the most part.

favorite songs: tomorrow comes today, 19-2000, double bass

g-sides!! pretty solid b-side compilation! obviously, it's weaker than the self-titled it's a good companion piece. not a fan of the reused songs on the european relase tho, wasted opportunity to put the english version of latin simone on there

laika come home. yeah it's mid sadly:(. pretty much every song overstays it's welcome besides strictly rubbadub which is probably the only "good" song on the entire thing

THIS IS THE GREATEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!! am I biased? maybe, probably... yes, I am. DEMON DAYS is a very important album to me. it's the first cd I ever bought lol! I think almost every song on this album is just perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about it!

D-SIDES!! another b-side compilation, also the last one. the first disc is just great! you could fool me into thinking it's an actual album! the second disc on the other hand, it's not that good sorry. a lot of the remixes drag on for too long and make me feel like I'm wasting my time.

god I love this album. my favorite song of all time (on melancholy hill) is on here btw!

the fall isn't necessarily a "good" album but I still like it. hey, it was made on an ipad you have to at least respect it.

favorite songs: revolving doors, hilibilly man, aspen forest

I'm mixed on humanz. the highs of this album are really high but the lows are also realy low. I used to dislike 2D taking a backseat on this release but I don't mind it anymore!

favorite songs: andromeda, momentz, strobelite

the now now is good but also pretty boring. a lot of the songs sound the same to me. don't really have much else to say about this album sorry

favorite songs: humility, kansas, souk eye

song machine is probably the best album since plastic beach (so far)! it does have some lows but the highs are really high. not having opium on the standard edition of the album is a crime.

favorite songs: the valley of the pagans, desole, aries

this is the worst gorillaz album. there I said it! it sounds like soulless radio pop to me. I can count the songs I find good on a single hand. massive step down from song machine.

favorite songs: cracker island, new gold, skinny ape

yeah the mountain it is high! this album actually isn't out yet as of the time I'm writing this! I'm super excited for it! most of the singles are great! better than most if not all of cracker island. can't wait for the music video too!
