guess who just spent money on more dumb shit! that's right, ME! I'm not gonna lie I wasn't planning on getting this game on launch at first. then I played the demo. yeah it's fair to say I'm hooked now lol. I don't think I ever spent as much time on a demo as I did with this game! it's so fun I even deleted my original save and started a new one because I wanted more! if you're curious about what miis I put on the island, I made me and m*rdoc from gorillaz. what I also wanted to yap about here besides tomodachi life is RHYTHM HEAVEN NEWS!!! I don't think I've really shared this here but I LOOOVE rhythm heaven! it's probably my top 5 favorite game series or top 10 at the very least. you probably know this by now but rhythm heaven groove is not only coming out july 2nd but also only costs $40! I did see physical editions being confirmed for both japan and north america but nothing for europe which makes me think it'll be a download exclusive over here. that's a bummer:(. having the game on a shelf would be awesome is all I'm saying!
I'm pretty sure this has been the longest break between entries so far but who gaf. honestly I'm only writing this because I feel obligated to keep making new content to the website in one way or another. so the mountain would've released TODAY if not for the delay! that's actually pretty crazy to think about. I'm glad the push forward happened because I probably wouldn't have survived the originally planned 6 month rollout lol. I think the album's great you can read my initial thoughts on it here!
this blog is probably a good place to announce I'll be moving updating the website from the neocities editor to doing it externally with notepad++. writing this entry on n++ as we speak lol!! my reasoning for this is the stupidly high update count which I don't like looking at. it's probably not a very good reason but guess what? I don't care!
I hate to start another entry like this but snailgoesboing central 1.0 is COMPLETE!! I've implemented everything I wanted to do by now! not really feeling like talking more about development again so I'll just yap for a bit instead lol.
I guess I could talk about how my weekend went. not much happened really. I forgot my wallet when leaving the dorm (yes I live in a dorm) and didn't have any cash on me! I still went shopping tho. got a cool system of a down shirt (which turned out to be slightly oversized:\) and a new hoodie! not much but I DESPERATELY needed new clothes. most of my free time was spent binging dexter, they're taking it off netflix on the 30th so I have to speedrun it lol! went for a walk on the first time in a while too, the weather is finally walk-friendly so it'd be stupid to not go out. surprisingly I didn't listen to any music on that walk, which isn't usual behavior for me. I have a CRIPPLING music addiction I can't do anything without listening to it. like at school I wear earbuds all day and then when I get back I switch to my headphones and use them until I go to sleep! (now that I think about it I might have a problem.)
okay I think that's enough for now so I'll just stop right here
I'm almost done with version 1.0 of the website THANK GOD!! I've been working on this for almost a month now and I can't wait to finally be done with the first finished version! besides more shrines, the only thing left on my to-do list is to polish everything as much as possible. the website is close to a state I'm satisfied with so I estaminate completion in like a week or two!
coming back to what I wrote in the 24th february entry, if you haven't noticed I decided to go with option a. I don't really see a purpuse of a "cool stuff" page anymore lol. might explore that idea in the future tho👀👀

after a grueling 5 month wait the new gorillaz album has finally released! and it's good! really good, in fact! I'm listening to it for the second time while writing this entry lol. I already knew this shit was going to be good walking into it but I was still blown away! I liked every song except the god of lying, which is good but I can't bring myself to care about it. out of the non-single tracks I LOVED the moon cave, the plastic guru and the sad god. the music video was awesome too! tho it did leave me confused. "this video explains the story of the mountain" my ass I didn't understand anything! besides that the short is just pure eye candy, especially the part inside the cave! I've noticed there's gonna be a game based on the album at kong soon, that's nice! oh right I also got the deluxe cd version! thankfully the packaging is rectangular so it doesn't stick out on my shelf like cracker island does. I don't think the bonus tracks themselves are anything special but the packaging alone was worth the higher price!
can't believe "someday" meant "in two days"! it turns out I'm out of ideas for the remainder of the website! there's still an empty space on the navigation bar and I've been thinking about either:
a) leaving it blank and trying to center the thing
b) put a page with links to various cool stuff
both options sound good to me but I can't really decide on either:( if I were to guess I'm probably gonna settle on option b. seems like a way to avoid cluttering the home page with useless shit. staying in the topic of ideas for the site, I might do another shrine real soon. not sure what I'll make it for but that's something for me to figure out later. if you want to give me ideas about what to do with this website just contact me through any means mentioned in the dedicated page!
yeah sure I'll make a blog why not. this probably won't be updated often but I thought it would be worth a try. I probably chose the most nothing burger day to start a blog lol. I mean the mountain comes out in 5 days from now! that's nice! the site is also about to reach 1500 views which is also pretty cool. I'm actually almost done with it. probably like 80-85% complete. can't wait to take the work in progress warning off the main page! okay this is all I have to say for today. probably gonna make a new entry someday, we'll see!
